Gerald Jay Resnick received a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from Bowling Green State University in May 1974, and a J.D. from Western New England School of Law in May 1978.  He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York and the District of Columbia.

Mr. Resnick's practice has concentrated on employment and discrimination matters since 1985. He is a Certified Civil Trial Attorney of the State of New Jersey, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey. He has tried numerous employment cases to verdict and has also appeared before the Appellate Division of the State of New Jersey, the New Jersey Supreme Court, and the Second and Third Circuits Courts of Appeal on employment issues.

Mr. Resnick has had numerous published cases that have advanced the rights of employees, such as Dow v. L&M Security, Inc., Entrot v. BASF Corp., Klein v. UMDNJ, Conoshenti v. PSE&G, Cahill v. City of New Brunswick, Molin v. Shapiro, Craig v. Suburban Cablevision, and Wiley v. Hughes Capital Corp.  Over the years, he has written numerous articles which have appeared in the New Jersey Law Journal, the latest one being in March 2007, entitled It's Time for a Passenger Bill of Rights on Airport Security, which stemmed from a pending case involving the sexual harassment of an American Airlines flight attendant.  He has also appeared on the Fox Network's Geraldo Rivera At Large television show, and was recently interviewed by Fox News.

Mr. Resnick is a Bencher with the Sidney Reitman Labor and Employment Inn of Court.  He is also a member of the International Network of Boutique Law Firms, an organization of highly credentialed boutique law firms that have been hand selected as outstanding in their respective fields of law.
