Theodora M. Stitzel is an Employment Litigation Paralegal for Resnick & Nirenberg. She has approximately fifteen years of experience in assisting attorneys in the areas of employment law, transactional real estate, real estate redevelopment, and litigation.

Ms. Stitzel's experience, training and knowledge allow her to support our attorneys in a variety of employment law and civil rights matters. She provides litigation support through negotiations, discovery, mediation, motion practice, trial, and appeal. Among her many responsibilities, she drafts and responds to pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and various attorney and client correspondence.  It is through her experience with all levels of clientele, and her training and expertise in filings with New Jersey's Superior Court that she is able to provide the support necessary for the esteemed attorneys with whom she works. With her understanding of law firm operations and the implementation of various practices, she has proven herself to be an essential member of the firm.

In addition to her extensive experience, Ms. Stitzel is expanding her knowledge of legal research and litigation. She is currently enrolled in an American Bar Association-approved program to receive her Paralegal Certificate (expected completion Summer 2009).

Prior to joining Resnick and Nirenberg, Ms. Stitzel earned her Bachelor of Art Degree from Montclair State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She also received an Associates Degree in Applied Science from Katherine Gibbs School. Ms. Stitzel graduated with honors from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she received her American Bar Association-approved Paralegal Certificate.
