About Paramus

Located in Bergen County, New Jersey, the Borough of Paramus was incorporated in 1922. Its name comes from the word “peramsepuss,” which is the Lenni Lenape Indians word for “land of the wild turkeys.” 

As of the 2020 census, Paramus had over 26,000 residents, which makes it the second largest municipality in Bergen County. 

The Borough is perhaps best known for being home to three major shopping malls, the Garden State Plaza, the Paramus Park Mall and the Bergen Town Center (formerly the Bergen Mall), as well as numerous other shopping centers, retail stores and restaurant located on and near Route 4 and Route 17. It also is home to the New Jersey Children’s Museum, the Bergen Museum of Art and Science, Bergen Community College, and four golf courses.

Traveling to Our Firm From Paramus

There are multiple ways to reach our law firm from Paramus.  One of the easiest options is to take Route 17 North to the Garden State Parkway North.  Continue approximately 8 miles, where you will get off at Exit 172.  You then just have to turn left onto West Grand Avenue, followed by a right turn onto Chestnut Ridge Road.  At that point, our office building is slightly more than a block away, at 135 Chestnut Ridge Road.
