Fair Lawn, New Jersey National Origin Discrimination Attorneys
Rabner Baumgart Ben-Asher & Nirenberg, P.C. represents individuals who have experienced various types of discrimination in the workplace, including national origin discrimination and ancestry discrimination, both of which are prohibited by New Jersey and New York law. For example, it is unlawful for an employer to hire, terminate or refuse to promote an employee based on his or her nationality or ancestry. Similarly, workplace harassment because you were born in another country violates the law in New York and New Jersey law if it creates a hostile work environment.
It should not matter to your company or to your boss whether you were born in another country or your parents or grandparents immigrated to the United States. Our employment law attorneys are experienced and representing clients who have experienced these forms of discrimination at work, and will help enforce your legal rights.
Experts at Evaluating Your Employment Law ClaimEmployees often wonder whether their supervisor’s real motive for taking an unfair adverse action against them was discriminatory. For example, it might not be clear whether your company fired you because of your national origin, rather than for the reason or excuse your boss gave you for its decision. Our employment attorneys will analyze the facts and circumstances of your case to help determine whether there is enough evidence to prove a discrimination claim. We will discuss and explain your options to combat it.
